Review on 🖊️ Mont Marte Woodless Charcoal Pencils, 3 Piece Set - Soft, Medium, and Hard Charcoal Grades by Carol Miller

I love these pens and have made a few drawings with them in addition to my other charcoal pencils. They are easy to sharpen with a regular sharpener, but I think you can use a knife to remove some of the varnish if you only want to use the side. And obviously yes they are carbon so they are brittle and if you drop them they will break. But it would be nice if I could break them myself first. After two attempts, Revain was unable to get me a set with all three pins that were originally intact. The first time around a half inch of the hard pencil was visibly broken in the packaging so I sent it back unopened. The replacement appeared to be intact even in the blister pack, but it turned out that the soft pencil broke upon removal. But both plugs were the right size, so I took compensation and kept them. They're a pleasure to use, but if you want to keep them in their original form, prepare to be disappointed. Although you might be lucky.
