The player's turntable was making a rattling or erratic whistling sound in the background while playing an album. : You could also hear that on the recorded cassette. rendered useless. The CD drive could not be opened. Not even sure if the CD drive was a CD player. The sound quality from the built in speakers was not stereo although the radio worked fine! The return process was easy and valuable. But I don't recommend it. I am sorry.
