The first cable is already starting to bend
I use 1 of 3 cables and while it looks extremely strong when open it is already showing signs of bending/warping. If you look at the picture, the connector is now angled down after only a few months of use (my original, shorter iPhone cable no longer has this after a few years of use). Sometimes the connection is lost too. I bought a 10ft cord so I can use it in bed when my battery is low, but it's not uncommon for it to extend far enough where it stops charging.
