Review on 👟 ASICS Women's Gel Quantum Running Shoes: Enhanced Athletic Footwear for Women by Eric Ramen

Reviews are often emotional rather than factual, so: I'm 5'10, 185 lbs, I have high arches with overpronation. Usually worn in a medium or wide size 10 depending on the brand. This review is for the ASICS Gel-Quantum 90 Women's Running Shoe in Roselle/Roselle, size 10. I only wear these shoes for training. Also, I'm not a runner - my knees can be difficult - but I'm an avid elliptical trainer and hiker. Have burned a pair of Newton sneakers in a few months and have had good experiences with Asics. I spent a lot of time looking before I found these and, silly as it sounds, I mostly decided based on aesthetics. This time I didn't need all the neon rainbow colors which were hard to come by at a reasonable price. (No offense to neon rainbows and their fans!) The shoes arrived a week early (great!) and feel better than anything I've had before (Newton, Saucony, other Asics models). At first I wasn't sure if they would fit me - they seemed smaller than my feet - but they glided well and were snug yet comfortable, like I broke them putting them on. Out of the box, I did a 4-mile hike and was well supported, but not so soft that I couldn't cling to tarmac, grass, and gravel or navigate. I saw in some pre-purchase reviews that others had poor arch support or that the base of the shoe was too weak. I haven't experienced it. The shoes are light but very durable. In my opinion perfect. After the walk, my poor feet, used to a battered pair of Newton sneakers, hurt a little, but there was no blistering, tingling, or other discomfort. The outer part of the shoe is made of thick mesh and while not very breathable, thinner material usually means faster wear and tear, so these shoes are built to last and are suitable for all seasons of outdoor activities as long as they are a bit sweatier in summer . :)
