Bought to put by the side of my project desktop so I don't have to bend down to plug something in or worry about the power strip across my desk slide. And for that use it was great. I have a few old USB devices like small fans and mini lights that I plug into USB ports and having them around has been extremely helpful. Aside from powering the Raspberry Pi devices I work on without using a power plug. And of course I use a couple of outlets on the side of my desk to plug in other tools like a Dremel or hot glue gun. Overall I am very satisfied and I only wish I had found this sooner.
