This thing is amazing, it actually gets cold and I'm talking cold to the touch, maybe down to 40 degrees. I have no way of checking the temp but it's getting cold this is amazing and very awesome gear. The only downside is that the drive works so hard that it's too powerful for 2.0. So you need to plug it into an outlet with a plug. I think the description of the power consumption says that you shouldn't connect it to a computer because it's a surge of electricity. But this is the most powerful device they've ever made. I hope they make a bigger one for a 17 inch laptop for example because that's what I use it for and it's only designed for 15 inch laptops but it's still amazing.
