Review on 3M Personal Protective Equipment Versaflo by Amicz Kakaruk

Love this PAPR. Convenient and the battery lasts a long time. I used it for woodwork, but I've also used it for other jobs like removing popcorn from the ceiling. It came with a main filter and a spark arrestor, but no pre-filter. Here in the States I have only found one diesel particulate filter. This is annoying because you can get steam filters for this device abroad. There was also a review from Ashley complaining that it wasn't for front-line workers. Yes, that's right. Gases and vapors do not contain viruses, which are much larger. I also work in healthcare. N-95 is what I wear on COVID blocks and this filter outperforms it. Some in the units also carry similar PAPRs. To give you a fun and crude example of what gas is, I ate a bean burrito the day before I used this device for the first time. The fan/filter unit was mounted on my lower back, just above my body vent. The fan sucked in the gaseous product of my bean burrito feast and sent it straight into my helmet. So you can wear it to protect yourself from viruses, dust and other particles, but not from paint fumes and bean burritos. I also got headphones with this helmet. Works very well, convenient.
