The momentum is definitely strong. The width is a little wider than many seats and works well for those of us who don't have narrow hips. That's one of the reasons we bought them. The chains are high quality, durable, with a smooth coating. The chains were lowered into the cover so they hung straight without twisting. Nice detail. Only wish is that there is an option for longer chains. For those building their own swing (higher than a regular kids swing), the longer chain option is a real plus. We replaced the chains with longer ones and used the originals to swing the tires. But really no complaints. I would take her again!
