Review on Huawei Freebuds Pro MermaidTWS with Active Noise Cancellation - Silver Frost by Anson Chen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

In general, good headphones. It is audible well, on the other end during a conversation too. There is noise cancellation and it works, but I can’t say that it is much better than inexpensive Chinese earplugs with a similar function. It is unrealistic to notice that the headphones automatically switched from one noise reduction mode to another in everyday life. Even when experimenting with various noises, it is extremely difficult to notice a mode change, more often you only see it in the application - a toy function (or simply still underdeveloped). In translucency mode, there is a voice amplification submode. The idea is very necessary and important. Only here to use it you need to have an application through which it turns on. To do this simply on the headphones will not work, which translates the function into the category of practically useless. The application can help the user choose the right size of ear pads. Or rather, he can try, but he does not succeed. It always suggested to me to fix the headphones in my ear or change the tips, in the end I stayed on the smallest ones that were originally. By the way, the application told me how to get the headphones out of the case (at first, like many, I suffered for a long time picking them out). The pinches that control the headphones must be very strong - at first, being afraid to crush these small things (having previously had a bad experience), I grabbed them quite gently and decided that this method of control worked extremely poorly. But no, it works. The ear pads are packed very badly - when you open the inner box, the rubber bands tend to get enough sleep and jump across the floor into the corners.

Pros
  • Sound. Nothing outstanding and that's just fine. He's just the way he should be. Exactly like this.
Cons
  • Noise suppression. Control. Price - but you pay for progress - technologies that in a year and a half will be available to everyone and cost several times cheaper. Everyone decides if it's worth it.
