Very important! in Canister

I wish I had bought it from Revain instead of the store. It would be a little cheaper. I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner so far. Kenmore has been making this vacuum in various styles for decades and this is my second vacuum. The first lasted about 14 years before finally giving up the ghost. Can't comment on the longevity of this version yet, but it seems to be just as high quality, with just a few updated features, which I appreciate. The only other vacuum I had was a top-of-the-line Riccar ultra-light upright vacuum that I have used in my household for many years. That being said, I've had cleaning customers who wanted me to use my machine and customers who wanted me to use their machine, so I've probably used a lot more vacuums over the years than the average consumer. In my experience, this is the best vacuum you will buy outside of a vacuum shop. Shark and Dyson are extremely clumsy and useless, and despite what the marketing says, they don't vacuum as well as bagged vacuum models. Of these, it is also very messy to throw away the dust bag compared to replacing the vacuum cleaner bag. In my experience, as long as you change the bags and filters in a good quality vacuum cleaner in good time and give it a thorough cleaning every now and then, it won't lose suction power. The design of this Kenmore vacuum cleaner is very well thought out. To be honest I can't understand why Power Team canisters aren't that much more popular. When it comes to customer stands with attachments, I have always been annoyed by short hoses, machines tip over when I reach for something with attachments and it was usually difficult to get the hose in and out of the machine. On top of that, you can't even vacuum hard floors with a vertical add-on shelf. It's easy with this canister machine. You simply press the button with your foot and the wand will pop out instantly. Go ahead and pick up the pile of paperclips your kids left on the floor, the hose is huge so they don't get stuck. Go straight and go to the cobwebs on the ceiling. The wand extends so it doesn't take long to put the wand together AND your car won't fall over while you're at it. Go vacuum under the sofa. The powerhead has a low profile and the probe sits flat on the ground, allowing you to get into all but the tightest of spaces. Unlike my latest Kenmore canister, the performance seems to work just as well on hard floors as it does on carpet, not even having to switch heads when moving from room to room or carpet to bare floor! I like it. When I received this I assumed it wouldn't vacuum my carpets as well as my Riccar. (I wouldn't even replace the Riccar, but I shorted out the circuit board due to moisture, and the machine was so worn down from years of cleaning houses that it wasn't worth the cost of repairs.) the thought that it might last a few more minutes to vacuum the carpet, thinking I had the convenience of vacuuming up corners and cushions like entire rooms in exchange for sweeping the floor with dog hair in one go. happen. I was wrong. I hadn't had a working vacuum in a house with two large bitches for two weeks in June when I finally decided to go back to the Kenmore canister. Kenmore immediately sucked him off in one go. I was very pleased! As a bonus, my relatively thick plush rug is a lot easier to push than my wonderful Riccar. The large rear wheels feel weak. I worry that one of them might break off at some point. It seems like a really odd design decision as everything else about the car seems well thought out in terms of both usability and durability. Another thing that worries me is that the parts inside the metal extension that hold the attachments are plastic and not metal. However, they appear to be fairly solid plastic and are holding up. I can't remember if my last Kenmore canister had plastic or metal clips, but I do remember that over the years the machine has cleaned many pets in a large, dirty farmhouse, they have never broken. Don't think you can get a better design, more powerful or more durable vacuum machine at this price point. The only machine I know that comes close in terms of ease of use is the Mile Power Team canister, and it costs three times as much. Also, Kenmore's adjustable suction setting is on the handle rather than on the canister like Mile, and the bags are cheaper. However, the mile will likely last a lifetime, so if you have the money it's probably a worthwhile investment. I didn't have a penny to buy a vacuum cleaner so I bought this Kenmore and am very happy with it.
