Seems to help keep NH3 under control
Seems to work as long as other things in the tank are under control. I'm running my Betta in a new tank and between water changes the NH3 goes up to 1ppm. After adding one of these to my filter system, the NH3 stayed at 0.25-0.5ppm for 3 days with two 20% water changes.
