Perfect for cup sockets in the kitchen!

Update from 05/20/20 - IT STILL WORKS GREAT! Everything still works on it and we use it every day and there are still more devices connected to it. I will buy another one for the second floor. Our house is 28 years old and was built with the minimum number of outlets allowed in the house at the time (2-3 outlets max per room and it's terrible). 90% of the outlets in our home have some sort of surge protector or cord for extra outlets. The problem in my kitchen is that every outlet has a light switch. This makes it almost impossible to install a surge protector since it will cover the light switch. We tried a regular household outlet without a surge protector, but the cord got very hot. This charging station seems to be the answer. At least for now. I only had it a few weeks. We have a deep fryer, weather radio and a lighted salt rock that is connected 24 hours a day. Fry Daddy hangs on the outlet almost every day, as does the fan for ventilation, however, the builders did not install adequate ventilation in the kitchen. My phone charges regularly and I just unplugged a Christmas string of lights that was plugged in 24/7 along with everything else. I really like that you can turn off the bottom or top outlets when not in use. Oh, and my favorite part is the retractable cord. So there is no additional cable lying around. And of course surge protection, and it stays in place. I definitely recommend it. I'll try to update later this year and let you guys know if I still like it :)
