Everything went well at the beginning. Then, after using it for a bit, I found that it couldn't handle the handshake that occurs when a high refresh rate HDMI signal passes through it (it just shows a black screen). So not good for gaming. Then, about four months later, my screen started blinking black at an increasing rate. I cut it out of the loop and the problem went away immediately. It may be defective but I'd bet on it simply because it's cheap. If you buy this try it on day one so you don't get stuck outside the return window like me. It's not a waste of money as it can still switch USB devices decently, but I definitely wouldn't buy this product again.
