Purchased due to light weight and white lid. But instead I got a blue-grey lid, which I really liked! But unfortunately I washed it by hand, but instead I wanted to disinfect it from Covid-19 that day and soon realized that when disinfected, it definitely cannot be washed in the dishwasher. Unfortunately, it no longer fits on the lid because the case is deformed. If it wasn't for us I would love it! I have a large family as well as large family reunions (Latin family what can I say) and anything less than a gallon needs constant refilling where so because it was a gallon refilling wasn't as frequent. Yes, we use large 2.5 gallon pitcher containers, but we like to have the containers on the table so people can refill them without getting up when everyone sits down at the table. It also made it easier for family members with arthritis to hold on, as the liquid didn't add weight to the container they couldn't hold to pour themselves. All in all, if it were dishwasher safe I would give it 5 stars, but since it isn't I'll give it 3 stars.
