Can't say enough about this knife set. Arrived on time, the box had the usual shipping marks, but each knife was made of protective plastic with an extra protective cap on the tip of each. I looked at each one as I placed them on a beautiful birch wood stand. No item damaged. Absolutely beautiful to look at in our renovated kitchen. They are SUPER SHARP. I've been using knives to butcher game for over 60 years and I know how to sharpen a knife razor sharp and every one of these knives is razor sharp. BE CAREFUL Both my wife and I have cut our fingers slicing tomatoes because we have never had sharp kitchen knives of this quality. Damascus or not, I can't say, but I'm very happy with "BLOOD".
