Review on 📏 Fowler 54 554 722 Digital Measuring High Resolution by Stephen Parkell

I am very disappointed in the Fowler 54-554-722 external electronic calipers. First it came with a dent in the LCD screen cover. Something must have affected it before they wrapped it, leaving an ugly crease on the plastic. Secondly, he has absolutely no possibility of repeating the measurement. The zeroing is random at best. I can hardly bring myself to read it the same way twice. Jaws have good side to side play. Doesn't inspire confidence at all. The battery was dead, at least they were kind enough to put in a spare battery. The case is fine but why they went to the trouble of sticking labels and stuffing it in the box I don't understand. half cleaned and ugly. Seriously, why would they even bother! My advice, don't buy anything, Fowler. It's just not worth it if they don't get their QA department in order. This caliper sucks, and if that's any indication, I'm sure the rest of their line is, too.
