I obtained this set of hangers with a view toward using them on some trips that were canceled and finally wound up testing them at home.First, they are indeed compact and lightweight. They're easy to fold and unfold, and to attach the included skirt/trouser clips. Here, though, is where I become concerned. While the width of the hanger would reasonably accommodate clothing of any size so long as it wasn't too heavy, the place where the clips slide over leaves a very narrow gap. If you have a heavy skirt, whether due to fabric construction or waist size, I'm not sure they'd hold up very well. They seem to be fine for holding up a fabric purse to dry . and that should give you an idea of the width/gap, because I suspended the purse by the flap after it came out of the washing machine.I suspect these would be fine for summer-weight clothing, as an adjunct to hotel room drawers and closet hangers, but maybe not as a full-fledged substitute. I guess I'll find out when we can actually travel again.
