They are perfect for my kickboxing class. Protects fingers and supports wrist. Dry quickly. I use it twice a week, so far there are no unpleasant smells. A month later they are like new. Durability will no doubt depend on how often and how hard you train, but they're perfect for amateurs like me who take kickboxing classes just for cardio. My only complaint is that the sizing options for Everlast training gloves are a bit limited. My height is 8.4 inches (ankle circumference). The L/X-Large size starts at 8 inches and I think I could be happier with a tighter fit. However, I love my gloves.
