The shoes are ok, but there are some oddities that aren't entirely obvious. First, they are based on a neoprene sock, which I like and fit quite well. But the bottom has a thin sole that is about 3/4 inch loose on either side of the cure. This means that you are wearing a chunky high heel, even if it looks like a normal heel. There are two problems with this: It has less stability in the part of the foot where you need more stability. And I worry that loose parts of the heel will wear out quickly. The second issue is that the tabs on the back need something to keep the sleeve from coming loose. And there is nothing. Twice while walking, my shoe rubbed on something and the buckle that was pulling the heel counter came off completely. It is easy to reattach and tighten. But if it gets lost, then the only thing you can really do is cut the back laces because you can't tie them.
