This excellent product is cheaper than a gourmet cheeseburger and draft beer. Yes, its plastic legs and a pressure plate on top, but if you don't expect it's the end of an expensive leather sofa decorated, it looks okay. It assembles in literally under 5 minutes and sits flat on a flat surface. The instructions are clear but unnecessary. I took another reviewer's advice and used it to elevate one of my bookshelf speakers from the bass module to the height of a wine cooler and sofa back. Ideal. Each speaker weighs 15 pounds and the table has no problem with that. This is a static application; we don't put things on the table and then pick them up and the table doesn't interfere, but it seems stable enough for my purpose. And from two meters away, it looks like a beautiful wood-topped table that costs a lot more than the money for a beer and a hamburger.
