Good TIG Gloves - Personal Protective Equipment

I don't usually write reviews, haven't bought many things that I thought were worth my time. I try not to waste my time writing bad reviews because anyone can have a bad day and find something wrong with almost anything. I weld aluminum TIG for 6-8 hours a day. During this time I also do a lot of sanding, sanding and using a fair amount of abrasive. I've used a few different brands and generally prefer goatskin for its softness and flexibility, plus they wear well if thick enough. The title says 'cowhide' but the description explains that the upper is cowhide and the sleeves are goatskin. The seller may wish to move the goatskin information into the title. I really like these gloves, they are soft and flexible enough to run aluminum wire but thick enough to be durable. The price is correct! In general I like my snug fitting gloves which are average for me, I think these would be bigger. I've only used one pair so far but the carving has held up very well with my torch where I've used lots of gloves which might be one of the first things needed. My first purchase was for three pairs, after using the first pair for about three weeks I ordered four more pairs. I actually like the slightly larger size as it makes the gloves easier to put on and take off. I haven't found anything better for the price, but I hate spending over $12 on a pair of gloves. Works for me!
