Review on Refrigerator Defrost Heater Kit AMI PARTS WR51X10055 with Temperature Sensor WR55X10025 and High Limit Thermostat WR50X10068 Replacement for General Electric by Jason Martinez

So far I am satisfied with the purchase. I've been struggling with freeze icing for a few months. Manual defrosting required more often. I would have spent nearly $1,100 on a new one, but buyers would have regretted it and turned it down. I'm glad I did. This time, after defrosting, I unplugged the defrost heater and checked it with an ohmmeter and it showed no resistance, meaning it's definitely bad. So I ordered this kit and installed it the next day and assembled it in 20 minutes. I haven't replaced the thermostat or timer yet. I wanted to see if this would solve the problem. No frosting yet, but I'll have to give it a week or so to be sure. I'll report back after burning.
