Good reviews did not disappoint us. I am very satisfied with this induction worktop. It's amazing how it heats up and how easy it is to precisely control the cooking of sauces, sauces, etc. Fries require 9-10 power to get crispy but not burn. With the exception of boiling water, 12 is the highest setting I use. Very fast change in the amount of energy transferred to the pans with 1 or 2 power level changes. Cooking seems to be perfect at level 3. I have not used the temperature controls because direct observation allows me to judge the heat on the pans, just like using a gas burner it is best to rely on visual observation rather than dial adjustment because of gas flow , therefore the flame size can sometimes vary slightly with the same scale setting. This appliance works on my Le Creuset deep fryer, cast iron skillet, stainless steel skillet and skillet, stainless steel skillet and skillet. If the magnet sticks and holds against gravity then it is obviously suitable for an induction cooker. If I had to use electric ranges in my kitchen I would bite the bullet and get an induction range compared to any electric range I have ever used. I have a friend who works as a cooking instructor at a technical college and they just installed induction cooktops.
