I have 3 iBuddy cases - this one, the same one with a mesh window and a boot pocket. 2 hammocks have been used extensively - at least 20,000 miles between 2 of them with 150lb Tugg & Lincoln (my 2 boxers). everything from fast runs to the vet to 14-hour hardcore rides. I've seen my two oafs lounging in the hammock (rather than the seat itself) many, many times, not to mention the countless wrestling matches that took place in the cramped back seat. We have adventures most weekends and these two are experts at finding muddy water, mud and other nasty things that I won't mention. These hammocks are constantly being used and disturbed! The hammock is used about 98% of the time in my 4Runner, which, while stored in the garage and has tinted ceramic windows, lives between a blisteringly hot Texas summer and a scorching New Mexico sun. Aside from my youngest pup (he's a super chewer) eating parts of them, they've survived EVERYTHING and I've been able to repair chew damage and keep them fully functional. Covers are washed about once a month. I had no issues with straps, buckles, zippers or velcro. Yes some of the dents came off especially in the washing machine and even more so now they're both past the 1 year mark. To be honest I never expected them to last so long with the amount of action they see and definitely not in this price range. In comparison, I've had covers that cost 2x and 3x that ripped with just a 1-80lb dog jumping in the back seat to go for a walk. I highly recommend this cover and will be buying another tonight as Lincoln officially won that war. Shock.
