Review on Weleda Natural Salt Toothpaste 2.5: Organic Oral Care with Pure Salt for Healthy Teeth and Gums by Chris Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Woman loves oral care

I don't use toothpaste, but I prefer baking soda. But my wife loves this stuff so we bought a whole bunch. Good price here at Revain - much cheaper than the online vitamin store she bought her first tube from. Update: someone liked my review and said it helped him/her. It's generous because I was in a hurry and didn't write many reviews other than to say my wife loved it. A better review would say she appreciates the mint flavor which is NOT sweet and notes that its slightly abrasive nature helps keep her teeth cleaner. She likes how her mouth feels afterwards. Because it's not cute, she thinks she won't get tired after the second tube. Because of their views I will leave 5 stars. I remember 45 years ago a retired dental hygienist I knew in the community told me I was wasting money on toothpaste. All I needed was baking soda mixed with some salt, she said. At some point between then and now I got into a big argument with the hygienist at my dentist at the time over salt. She scolded me for using it and I told her to mind her own business because I would use whatever I wanted to brush my teeth, including garage floor cleaner if I pleased. So now we've come full circle where you can spend your money on toothpaste with baking soda and salt, or you can spend your money on toothpaste with a garage floor cleaner (sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate). If you are health conscious I think the former is a much better choice.
