Review on πŸ“ Bluebana Universal Industrial Aluminum Measuring by Eric Smithlin

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It's a virtually useless design

Cannot hand tighten enough to hold balance in place. That alone makes it almost useless. What appears to be something made out of thick solid metal rods is actually thin, hollowed out cheap die-cast metal. Instead of countersunk T-nuts that would allow the bottom of the scale to sit flat on a flat surface, there are stamped metal brackets that lift it off the surface, making it difficult to draw precise lines. Basically it's a cheap scam like many cheap tools. I wish I could find out which of the other brands are actually doing well as the reviews obviously don't reflect the product I received.

Pros
  • β˜… EASY TO USE: Unique cocking mechanism makes it easy to use with one hand; Measures all angles and shapes. Place it on the work surface, slide the Angleizer arms into the desired shape and tighten the screws. Form the pattern you want and transfer it to any material, ideal for repetitive cuts and measurements; It is an ideal tool for cutting bulges, arcs and plumb lines in roof joists.
