These hair bands are beautiful and useful. They came in four colors and two of the four zippers (black and white elastics) were less visible than the other two. All of them have a velvety texture. In one of the photos I have a standard size lipstick in it, and it seems to me that you hardly notice it. I'm not sure how it feels or even possible to tie your hair to it when you have items in it, but other than that it's a pretty nice and handy accessory for taking small items with you on the go.
