My Honda Civic's compression/engine performance has decreased noticeably, especially when the A/C is on and especially noticeable when driving uphill. I replaced the spark plugs with the original NGK just after 100,000 as required by the factory specs but have seen no improvement in performance. The candles didn't look that bad to be honest. Black, as expected, but with no stuck dirt. The car didn't fail, idle or anything, it just had some power reduction. These DENSO rolls made a big difference. The compression/power/throttling of the engine is much better and the fuel economy is also slightly improved. It's best to spend a few bucks more for DENSO quality, which is what these cars are made for, rather than a cheap aftermarket. It is very easy to install. My son, a second grader, was able to use them in literally 5 minutes. socket 10mm. Remove the 4 loose nuts, unplug and take out the old coil, push down the new coil, re-engage the electrical connector and tighten the x4 nut, done. I don't know how much the dealer is charging for this job, but whatever it is they should be ashamed, and so should you when you're paying that much for such a simple install.
