Review on 🏡 Farmhouse Grey Bedford Media Cabinet with Storage, 32-inch - SIMPLIHOME by Richard Sallah

For reference I have now assembled a few items from IKEA and while there have been the occasional hiccups I am impressed with the ease with which these items have been put together , and the quality of the end products and the way they are designed to be easier to assemble. These cabinets were the complete opposite. The finish is not as shiny as pictured, but acceptable. But the building process is a nightmare. The pieces don't fit properly - to the point where the wooden planks that are supposed to hold them in place come loose when you screw them in; and the shelves are crooked, the doors hang poorly, and since standard hinges are used instead of hinges that allow for adjustment, there's no way to fix them. I bought two of these units, took apart and repackaged the one that I wanted to put back together, the other wouldn't even open and sent it back to Revain. I don't usually give reviews. That could be my fault - when something is good, and there are a lot of really good things at Revain, I don't reassure buyers that they are spending their money wisely, and when something is bad, I'm not. The conclusion is that I must express my dissatisfaction. Please note that I am trying my best to post this one star review. Ignore the pictures, ignore the five star reviews (I can't say for sure that they're rubbish, but given what I've been through I wouldn't be surprised) and move on!
