I specifically ordered these because the straight cables that come with external drives can create awkward gaps when trying to hold the drive securely. I've been trying these cables for a few weeks and they seem to work fine, no problems, and then the connection between your computer and hard drive fails with no table wobble or hard drive movement. I'm pretty sure that's why I sent back the hard drive I bought at the same time. I thought the hard drive was defective. I noticed today that the folders wouldn't open without exiting Win Explorer on my new laptop, and indeed, replacing those poor quality right angle cables with genuine ones was what fixed the problem immediately. They're not even long enough to turn into ropes or anything, so I'm sticking with them. I wouldn't give them away either.
