Review on 🤖 Neato D8 Intelligent Robot Vacuum Cleaner: LaserSmart Nav, Smart Mapping, WiFi, 100-min Runtime, Turbo Clean, XXL Dustbin, Alexa-Compatible by Kayla Rivera

This was my first robot vacuum. I did a lot of research hoping to find the best value for money. Unfortunately, after trying to fix a few issues I came to the conclusion that it wasn't and finally decided to return it. Here's a summary of my experience: On the first day, the robot didn't connect to the app. After several error messages and many attempts, I contacted Neato support. They were approachable. However, in the end, after talking to them for an hour, they concluded that I need a new router (I had a well-known brand that was about 18 months old). I applied for a loan for this but was told this is not part of their business model. I thought about returning the robot but thought my family could benefit from a router upgrade so I bought a new router. At this point I was able to easily connect to the robot without any further help. The robot worked flawlessly for the next 2 weeks. It worked according to plan, impenetrable barriers worked well and the robot only got stuck a couple of times. I kept the bin and filter clean after each vacuum and our floors looked great. After 2 weeks and 1 day I returned home with a red flashing error light. The app said that I have to put the robot on the floor (it was already on the floor). Let's get back to customer service. Friendly again. Again no help. They asked me to send it in for repairs for their pennies. I asked to replace the robot. They said they had to run it up the chain. I ran out of patience then. After all, this thing isn't three weeks old and two issues deep. Shouldn't it make my life easier? I asked them to replace it with a new one and start with a new warranty. I informed them that if that didn't work for them I would just return it to Revain and move on to another product. They refused. As usual, Revane made things easy. I am buying another machine and will not buy a Neato product again. After all, if they don't believe in their products, why should I?
