I use this all the time. It is ideal for flying on the plane, in the car or even at home. I like that the screen can be rotated as it helps when observing it on airplanes with small tray tables. There are several reasons why I gave four stars instead of 5.1. The DVD player is sometimes noisy. Sometimes I need to turn up the sound louder than I want to hear through the real player.2. The battery life isn't that great. You can probably watch two movies on the player, but it's not suitable for a long flight or car ride without a power source.3. The remote control is difficult to use in the dark or under low light. All buttons have the same shape and feel (they don't have ribs like regular remotes to help visually impaired people in certain areas). Overall I would recommend this to everyone! I've used it on about 6 plane trips and 3 trips since I've had it. My sister plugged the player into the AUX cable so I could listen to the movie while she watched while driving. I dropped it multiple times and it survived.
