Lots of DIY potential and great sound!

Great little receiver with huge DIY potential! I used a pair of 2" speakers. I think the unit can do a little more. I'm thinking of building another one with 2 1/2" Dayton speakers. Requires soldering (at least 1 antenna connection) and requires a very small tip for a low wattage iron. If you use the built-in 3 W/ch output, you need to solder 4 more pin headers. Fun little project. The bezel pictured fits between two posts on my monitor stand. The other photo shows a tabletop radio I made with this module. Update: Created another bezel for using 2.5 inch speakers. Made from white Corian. The radio works quite well, but I had to add a longer antenna for better reception. Unless you have moderately advanced soldering equipment and skills, I would recommend using the built in connectors for audio out and power. Icstation's customer service was great! They are very easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions or concerns. Highly recommended! Edit to add another image. Got another module and built this radio along the lines of an old school transistor radio. Edit for another radio: This is a vintage Corian and oak cathedral style radio. For another retro/vintage radio build project, edit.@bb.cnc.craft
