I also always cut my fingers with tools to clean things well enough for my liking. My Cestari Vegetable Peeler: Vegetable Peeler: The double-sided silicone fruit and vegetable peeler works very well. I think most people would feel the same way. My food was washed and clean, but I've never lost as much food with this device as with other devices. One of the best parts - NO MORE scratches and cuts! I have to admit when I first saw this I thought it would never work, but it does. I know it must be ok for a number for other purposes. Having only received it a week ago, I'm looking forward to trying it out for as many uses as I can think of. I look forward to coming back and writing more about using my vegetable peeler.
