I needed a good docking station to set up a workplace at home. I previously bought another docking station for around $50 which was problematic as the HDMI output dropped every 5 minutes. So I started looking for a better dock, despite paying over $100 and being skeptical of the performance of the other options available. I've been using this one for 2 weeks and it works great with no issues. My Macbook Pro requires a 95w power adapter and it can put out up to 100w which is great for when I plug the power cord into the dock and use it to power my laptop. Overall I can say that this is a good product with a solid build and so far it has worked well without causing any problems.
