I wanted to replace our high chair because it took up the entire dining area and I couldn't just walk past it. This chair has a much smaller footprint than most others in this price range and is much easier to clean than my previous chair. There are a few small compromises: the straps never seem to stay properly adjusted, and removing the tray with two hands already pinched my squirming older child. I wish it had an adjustable footrest and a machine washable mat. The pad is made of neoprene which is easy to wash.
