I bought them because my heels were very cracked. I used to use Baby Feet and tried to get rid of cracked heels (most of the skin on my foot has reappeared but not all of my heels so that says how bad they are). I bought these socks to try and fix the problem. Inside the sock is a gel that is supposed to store moisture. You soak your feet and then apply your moisturizer to these socks. They're weird to step into, but they're easy to put on and feel good once on. Cracked heels improved slightly but did not completely go away. I like the fact that they aren't full socks as I live where it's very hot and I don't need full socks. I'll keep trying to wear more of these and see if my feet take longer to heal. I would buy again. I didn't have the laundry issues that others have mentioned. They seem to come out fine for me, but I also dry them on a low setting. If your heels are cracked, try them. Even if they don't "cure" them, they at least feel good and prevent skin from catching on objects.
