These capsules are much larger than expected. We bought them as a supplement for our dog who has heart and kidney problems. He takes 1500mg twice a day and all the other supplements I found were at 500mg. He takes so many pills I was really hoping to find 1500mg in one capsule and it works. He occasionally spears them when he takes them, and doesn't mind sampling or "cleaning up" spills off the floor.
