Weird, but difficult to unscrew.
I bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter and she loves it. It was very difficult to tear myself away from the end. I couldn't move my fingers. I ended up twisting the serpentine chain myself to unscrew the whole thing and it worked. Pearls are beautiful! Happy gift!
