I bought this for occasional use as the price was right and the reviews were good. For the price you can't go wrong if you can live with some issues. Firstly, the focus ring is not smooth when adjusting, as it sometimes gets stuck. There's also a noticeable "play" or "play" if you will in the focus ring before it clicks into place. Second, all lens caps are loose and tend to fall off after installation. The "pointer" labels are not clearly defined, so to have an idea of where my ideal settings are, I used a toothpick dipped in white paint to mark my settings for easy recall. I couldn't fold the eyecups in as instructed. I can live with it. On the other hand, the images are bright and well focused. Again, you can't go wrong for the price, which is why I recommend these binoculars.
