These lights really shine!
The whole tape works great and the built in effects on the remote are very good. All LEDs work properly and have the same brightness and hue. I'll write a custom program and connect smaller segments of this strip to wireless ESP8266 microcontrollers all over the living room for x mass. So far, so good. But it's worth noting that you absolutely need to have a good 5V power supply and connect it to the LED strip after about 300 LEDs if you want to run it with all LEDs at maximum brightness (and white). . The manufacturer's documentation describes this and other possible uses very clearly.
