I have to say right away this is one of the most comfortable carrier platforms I have ever used. I'm in love. I'm a tall guy, especially in the middle, and that gives me about 50 inches of waist room. Also ideal for tall people, with plenty of room to adjust up and down. The gear is equipped with two MOLLE panels with 8 columns and 3 rows of straps. There are also straps on the shoulders and back panel so you can attach a hydration pack (if you don't have a modular mount) or whatever. The shoulder straps and the back are equipped with Velcro fasteners for patches etc. The placement of the panels is favorable, so that most of the load is distributed on the sides and not in a dead center on the chest or stomach. It definitely makes styling easier. One last thing, the straps have built-in Velcro so you can fasten them and not worry about the extra length dangling.
