I've worn this shoe for many years anywhere on the street or in public except for sidewalk hikes (it gapes wider than my running shoes and lets gravel through). Easier to put on than shoelaces. I am relieved that they are still available. I have relatively stiff feet (short achilles, according to my doctor), so arch support, which shoe salespeople say everyone needs, is actually painful. There is very little here, and what is there are removable insoles, which I can replace with Dr. Scholl could replace.
