They are advertised as fog lights, more like a headlight to me. They go without direction, even real fog lights usually have top or bottom lights and fog lights are designed to have a light focus that goes down. I bought one of the wiring harnesses that comes pre-wired and it's a lot easier to go crazy. I put them on and wait until dark to fix them. They put out a decent amount of light but it's very diffuse which is why I say it's more of a flood light. The build quality seems okay. I wish the L shaped brackets were a bit lower. For the price they seem ok but not what I was looking for.
