Review on DisplayPort Extension Cable 6 Feet 🔌 - Cable Matters DP to DP Extension Cable by Michael Nard

Bought this extension so I can go faster from gaming desktop to laptop on an Asus 4K monitor with just a DP connection. For my work laptop with a 3ft DP cable + this 3ft extender I don't get any dropouts. Same goes for my Surface Book 3 with a 5ft USB-C to DP cable + this 3ft extension cable. However, on my gaming PC (with an old R9 290) I very rarely get a disconnect when using a 3ft DP cable in a power strip. This only happens maybe once every other play session and I have yet to figure out the reason or rhyme for it. I'm assuming it's either a GPU issue or the 3ft cable on the other side of the connection. However, there are a few things to note when compared to an active DP switch (in the hundreds of dollars, of course).
