This is a worthy product!

First, the build quality is very good, it doesn't feel cheap. The cable you connect to the wall is a good heavy gauge wire. A light that alerts you when your joules are depleted and your electronics are out of surge protection. We use this surge protector to protect our computer and printer from any kind of surge. We had several thunderstorms last week and one of them was accompanied by nearby lightning strikes. While the home's electronics were unaffected by the impact, this laptop, printer, and wireless router were actually powered on during the storm and sustained no damage. The entire unit can be turned off by flipping the switch, and the switch will turn itself off in the event of a lightning strike. I use this to hide cables behind a wall mounted TV. It's slim enough to connect a TV and soundbar, and it still fits behind a flat TV mount. The ground and surge protection LED is not very bright. So my night's sleep is not disturbed. It's very durable with a long power cord and plenty of ports. Everything about this expansion was as expected. The design of this surge protector is way better than what I expected for the price.
