I tried this because I was intrigued by the idea of having something very different from almost instant coffee from one of those one cup coffee makers. In addition, Vietnamese coffee was perceived as a completely different taste. I love the almost meditative quality of this way of making coffee, which is why it gets three stars. But the taste is actually not that different from any other coffee. The addition of condensed milk (as recommended) makes it too sweet for me. So I stick to black and enjoy slow coffee.
