Review on πŸ¦† Spode Woodland Pheasant 3.5 Pint Pitcher by Barb Parker

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I bought it and agree it's good but it's made in China and it should be.

I bought it and agree it's good, but it's made in China and should be mentioned. I don't want to pay $58 for something that costs a $5 fabricator labor and materials. It's better than the butter dish which is also overpriced and made in China. The butter dish does not fit in a standard American butter cube. A quarter inch had to be cut off or the lid would hit the oil. All plates, dinner, salad etc appear to be made in England. Sure, make some in China, but don't charge the buyer as if they were made in England. I will not buy a Spode again unless it clearly says Made in England.

Pros
  • WANTED POTTERY: Josiah perfected the process of printing blue ground on earthenware from hand-engraved copper plates in 1784. Since the introduction of this process, Spode's original blue and white designs have become some of the most coveted in the history of pottery.
Cons
  • Big and bulky
