I bought one of these to connect my MBPro to a second or third monitor on my desk. It worked fine when connected to DVI. I then used HDMI to connect to my big screen Sony TV and it worked great. I bought another one so I can have it on my second monitor and my TV which are in different rooms. still happy The only fault I have is that the connection cable is a bit short. I bought another adapter from another company that was causing wifi issues and I returned it. This works great with no glitches. Edit: The second one I bought had a DVI issue where my second monitor on my MBP would cycle on and off intermittently as if the adapter was losing connection and reconnecting. I swapped two out and the HDMI connector works fine and the first one I bought doesn't have the same DVI error. I may have to downgrade my review and send back a second one for a replacement.
