Tried to bet 4.5 but failed. In any case, this is a great clip. But expensive? I can't believe it costs more than $10. However, I don't know what else I could use. I've gone through quite a few of these over the years. I use them with large empty teabags to make 32oz teapots and you need to keep an eye on them. You fail, and too soon for the price. Some lasted two days, while others lasted two months at most. The last two I bought had a small chain coming out of the clip itself and I couldn't fix it. $20 down the drain so to speak. However, I am a very experienced user of these clips and have figured out how to bend the clip back into shape once it hasn't lost its lock. So you can breathe a little more life into them. I was about to buy another pair when the price hit me. So I will persevere until the ones I have are even rehabilitated.
